The SAFE Blueprint is a flexible, dynamic blueprint for security and virtual private networks (VPN). Based on the Cisco Architecture for Voice, Video, and Integrated Data (AVVID), SAFE enables businesses to compete securely and successfully in the internet economy. This unique blueprint specifies which security solutions should be deployed throughout a network via modules that simplify design, rollout and management. Each module includes the security and VPN components necessary to mitigate the specific threats found in each area of the network.
