Table 6-1 provides an alphabetical list of some of the commands to monitor and maintain the Wideband SIP. For more information about the commands used in this chapter, refer to this documentation in the order shown:

Table 6-1 Wideband SIP Command Summary

Command

Purpose

Router# hw-module subslot slot/subslot reset

Turns power off and on to the SIP in the specified chassis slot.

Router(config)# hw-module subslot slot/subslot shutdown

Powers down a SIP in the specified chassis slot.

Router(config)# no hw-module subslot slot/subslot shutdown

Powers on a SIP in the specified chassis slot.

Router# debug c10k-jacket

Enables debugging information for the Wideband SIP.

Router# show controllers jacket slot/subslot [all | cpld | processor | vanadium | spi_fpga]

Displays Wideband SIP register values.

Router# show diag slot/subslot

Displays information about the SIP installed in the specified chassis slot, and the status of any SPA hardware installed in that SIP.

Router# show inventory

Displays the product inventory listing of all Cisco products (such as the Wideband SIP) installed in the Cisco uBR10012 router.

Note If the Wideband SIP is powered off, the SIP and any SPAs installed in the Wideband SIP do not appear in the output of commands such as show diag and show inventory.
