Table 10-1 provides an alphabetical list of some of the most significant commands that are needed to configure, monitor, and maintain the Wideband SPA.

Preprovisions the Wideband SPA so that it can be configured without being physically present.

Router(config)# hw-module bay slot/subslot/bay shutdown unpowered

Powers down a SPA in the specified slot, subslot, and bay.

Router(config)# no hw-module bay slot/subslot/bay shutdown

Powers on a SPA in the specified slot, subslot, and bay.

Router(config-controller)# annex {A | B} modulation {64qam | 256qam}

Sets the annex (MPEG framing format) and modulation for the Wideband SPA.

Router(config)# cable fiber-node fiber-node-id

Enters cable fiber-node configuration mode so that you can configure a fiber node.

Router(config-if)# cable rf-channel rf_port [bandwidth-percent bw-percent]

Associates an RF channel on a Wideband SPA with a wideband channel.

Router(config-if)# cable bonding-group-id id_num [secondary]

For the Linksys WCM300 modem, specifies a Bonding Group ID and indicates whether the bonding group is a primary or secondary bonded channel.

Router(config)# cable wideband auto-reset

Enables wideband auto-reset mode on the CMTS.

Router(config)# controller modular-cable slot/subslot/bay

Enters controller configuration mode to configure the Wideband SPA controller.

Specifies a description for a fiber node.

Router(config-fiber-node)# downstream cable slot/subslot/port

Assigns a primary downstream channel for a fiber node.

Router(config-fiber-node)# upstream cable slot/subslot connector list-of-ports

Specifyies the upstream channel ports for a fiber node.

Specifies the RF channels that are available for wideband channels on a fiber node.

Sets the IP address of the Wideband SPA's FPGA.

Specifies the modular-host line card.

Displays information about a wideband channel cable interface.
