CiscoWorks Health and Utilization Monitor (HUM) 1.1 is an application that monitors the performance attributes of devices in an enterprise network. CiscoWorks HUM monitors the availability and utilization levels of device, CPU, memory and interfaces.

This guide describes how to use the HUM 1.1 application.

This chapter provides an outline on the organization of other chapters in this guide, details about related documents that support this application, and demonstrates the styles and conventions used in this guide.

Audience

This guide is for users who are skilled in network administration and management, or network operators who use this guide to monitor the utilization and availability of a device connected to the network using HUM. The network administrator or operator should be familiar with the following:
