Bias-Free Language
The documentation set for this product strives to use bias-free language. For the purposes of this documentation set, bias-free is defined as language that does not imply discrimination based on age, disability, gender, racial identity, ethnic identity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, and intersectionality. Exceptions may be present in the documentation due to language that is hardcoded in the user interfaces of the product software, language used based on RFP documentation, or language that is used by a referenced third-party product. Learn more about how Cisco is using Inclusive Language.
Installing and Removing a CompactFlash Memory Card
Note A CompactFlash memory card can be installed in either the DISK 0 or DISK 1 slots on the Supervisor Engine 720 faceplate, except for the 512 MB CompactFlash memory card which must be installed in the DISK 1 slot.
Installing a CompactFlash Memory Card
To install a CompactFlash memory card, follow these steps:
Step 1 Hold the CompactFlash memory card with the connector end of the card toward the slot. (See Figure 1, view a.)
Step 2 Slide the CompactFlash memory card into the slot until the device completely seats in the connector at the back of the slot and the ejector button pops out toward you. (See Figure 1, view b.)
