Audience and Use
The Failover Configuration and Administration Guide for Cisco Unity is intended for installers, system administrators, and technicians who are installing and configuring, customizing, or administering Cisco Unity failover.
The guide contains instructions for configuring and using failover on a Cisco Unity system with Microsoft Exchange, as well as information on how failover works. You configure Cisco Unity failover after both the primary and secondary servers have been installed according to instructions in the Cisco Unity installation guide.
For information on making changes to the current Cisco Unity system configuration, refer to the Reconfiguration and Upgrade Guide for Cisco Unity at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps2237/prod_installation_guides_list.html.
