Cisco Systems® announces the end-of-availability date for nGenius® Real-Time Monitor (RTM) 1.4, traffic-monitoring software included in the CiscoWorks LAN Management Solution (LMS). The last date to order the CiscoWorks LMS 2.2 bundle with RTM 1.4 is November 30, 2004. After this date, Cisco will continue to sell the CiscoWorks LMS bundle, but it will not include RTM. Table 1 provides the ordering and support milestones and dates for RTM 1.4.
RTM customers with the appropriate CiscoWorks LMS Software Application Support (SAS) contracts will continue to have access to RTM 1.4 updates from the Cisco Software Center on Cisco.com and to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until May 31, 2007.

Service contracts are not offered for RTM as a standalone product. Customers with a Cisco service contract for CiscoWorks LMS 2.0, 2.1, or 2.2 will continue to receive support on RTM 1.4 through this date. Other components within the LMS 2.x bundle will follow the contract renewal and support lifecycles offered at the bundle level. After this date, all support services for the RTM component are unavailable.

ORDERING nGENIUS RTM 1.4
Table 2 provides the CiscoWorks LMS part numbers to use when ordering RTM 1.4.
Existing CiscoWorks LMS 2.x customers with current SAS contracts can request an LMS Minor Update Kit that includes the latest release of RTM at: http://www.cisco.com/upgrade. Existing LMS 2.x customers who do not have a valid LMS support contract can order the minor update kit through their normal sales channel using part number CWLMS-MAY03-MR-K9. Because CiscoWorks LMS 1.x has officially reached its end-of-support, LMS 1.x customers can purchase the LMS 2.2 Major Upgrade Kit, part number CWLMS-2.2-UP-K9, to obtain RTM 1.4.
