Cisco Systems® announces the end of life of the Cisco® ONS 15454 Low-density EIA Panels. The last day to order the Cisco ONS 15454 Low-density EIA Panels is May 3, 2005. Customers will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until May 3, 2010. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the Cisco ONS 15454 Low-density EIA Panels. Table 2 provides a listing of product part numbers affected by this announcement.
Customers are encouraged to begin purchasing the replacement Cisco ONS 15454 Low-density EIA Panels. Table 3 provides product migration information from the Cisco ONS 15454 Low-density EIA Panels to the latest version of the Cisco ONS 15454 Low-density EIA Panels.

The replacement for the Cisco ONS 15454 Low-density EIA Panels is the Cisco ONS 15454 Low-density EIA Panels (Table 3). The replacement EIA panels are compatible with the latest Cisco ONS 15454 shelf assembly, version SA-HD, as well as interoperating with previous versions of the Cisco ONS 15454 shelf assemblies.
