Cisco Systems® announces the end-of-sale and end-of life dates for the Cisco® 7600 Series Router bundles containing Supervisor Engine 2 and 720. The last day to order the affected product is September 29, 2005. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until September 28, 2010.
Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected product. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement.
Note: Last software support for Supervisor Engine 2 and 720 (3A) is Cisco IOS Software Release 12.2.18SXF. Customers are encouraged to migrate to Cisco 7600 Series Router bundles containing Supervisor Engine 720-3B or Supervisor Engine 720-3BXL. Information about Supervisor 720-3B and Supervisor 720-3BXL may be found at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/switches/ps5718/ps708/product_data_sheet09186a0080159856.html. Table 2 provides relevant information for migrating to the Cisco 7600 Series Router bundles containing Supervisor 720-3B and Supervisor Engine 720-3BXL.
