Cisco Systems® announces the end-of-sale and end-of-life dates for the Coarse Wavelength-Division Multiplexing (CWDM) gigabit interface converter (GBIC) bundles (part numbers CWDM-8GBIC-SET1= and CWDM-8GBIC-SET2=). The last day to order the Cisco CWDM GBIC bundles is December 31, 2005. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC); individual products that make up the bundle are not affected by this announcement. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones and dates for the CWDM GBIC bundles. Table 2 describes the product numbers affected by this announcement.
Customers are encouraged to order individual CWDM GBIC products in the bundles that at end of sale (see section "Product Migration Options" for details).
