Cisco Systems® announces the end-of-sale and end-of-life dates for the Cisco® NPE-225 Network Processing Engine supported on the Cisco uBR7246VXR Universal Broadband Router. The last day to order the Cisco NPE-225 on the Cisco uBR7246VXR is July 27, 2005. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until July 27, 2010. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the Cisco NPE-225 on the Cisco uBR7246VXR. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement.
