Cisco Systems® announces the end-of-sale of the Cisco® IP SoftPhone bundles. This announcement does not impact the ability to purchase individual licenses for Cisco IP SoftPhone. The last day to order Cisco IP SoftPhone bundles is
April 29, 2005.
Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement.
Customers are encouraged to migrate to Cisco IP Communicator for their softphone client needs. Cisco IP Communicator is a software-based application that delivers enhanced telephony support through personal computers. This application endows computers with the functionality of IP phones, providing high-quality voice calls on the road, in the office, or from wherever users have access to the corporate network.
