PRODUCT MIGRATION OPTIONS

The recommended replacement for the Cisco ATA 188 Analog Telephone Adaptor is the Cisco ATA 186 Analog Telephone Adaptor or either the Linksys SPA2102 or SPA2100.
The difference between the ATAs 186 and 188 is that the 188 has an extra Ethernet port and an Ethernet switch; the 186 has only one Ethernet port and no switch. Customers may optionally choose to migrate to a Linksys ATA device more comparable to the ATA 188 such as the Linksys SPA2102 or SPA2100. Note: the Linksys SPA2100 offers 2 FXS and 2 Ethernet ports.
