Cisco Systems® announces the end-of-sale and end-of-life dates for the Cisco® Media Gateway Controller (MGC) Software Version 9.3.2. The last day to order the affected product is February 1, 2006. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until February 1, 2009. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected product. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement.
Customers are encouraged to migrate to the Cisco Media Gateway Controller (MGC) Software Version 9.5.2, which supports all the features of the MGC Software Version 9.3.2, plus includes support for additional functionality such as SIGTRAN, Generic Transparency Descriptor (GTD) support, secure interfaces (SSH), and other enhancements.
