Introduction
This product bulletin describes the new features introduced in Cisco IOS® Software Release 12.1(3)XG.
New Features
12.1(3)XG is an early deployment (ED) release that is targeted for the worldwide market. This release delivers support for the Cisco 1605-R platform. The new feature included in this release is:
Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE)
The feature delivered with this ED release will be incorporated into the 12.2(1)T release. Therefore, maintenance for these features should be obtained from the 12.2T release.
