Limited Cisco IOS Software Support
for Cisco 1600 Series Routers
Fewer software feature sets will be supported in Cisco IOS Software Release 12.3 mainline, and no feature sets will be supported in release 12.3T or later releases.
The Cisco 1600 Series routers have entered the end-of life (EOL) cycle and can no longer be ordered. As such, there is less need to provide newer features and support for all Cisco IOS® Software feature sets created for the Cisco 1600 Series routers.
In accordance with standard Cisco support policy, a reduction in the number of new IOS Software feature sets supported and available for purchase via price lists and Cisco.com download will be reduced beginning with IOS Software Release 12.3 mainline. As of release 12.3T, no new feature sets for the Cisco 1600 Series routers will be supported or available.
