This product bulletin describes the content and delivery information for Cisco IOS^® Software Release 12.2(15)JK, which is used to operate the Cisco^® 3200 Wireless Mobile Interface Card when configured with the Cisco 3200 Series Mobile Router.

The Cisco Wireless Mobile Interface Card (WMIC) is an optional hardware feature of the Cisco 3200 Series Mobile Access Router, which provides integrated 802.11b/g wireless WAN or LAN capabilities. The Cisco WMIC is designed to integrate with the Cisco 3200 Series Router, eliminating the need to utilize external 802.11 bridges or access points. The Cisco WMIC features:

•802.11g-link layer support

•Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) modulation with data rates up to 54 Mbps

•Ethernet connection to the Fast Ethernet Switch Multiple Interface Card (FESMIC)

•Industry-standard PC/104 form factor and ruggedized

•Diversity antenna

Cisco IOS Software Release 12.2(15)JK enables the Cisco WMIC to support the following software features:

•Standard Cisco IOS Software features, including security, network management, roaming, and quality of service (QoS)

•Three different operating mode configurations:

–Workgroup bridge (WGB)

–Access point

–Bridge (root or nonroot)

•Support for SNMPv3
