This document explains how to set up Caymen Tunnels between devices to encapsulate AppleTalk in IP.

It is preferred to use STEP tunnels between devices, but certain devices like the MR1000R do not support STEP, but do support Caymen.
You can only set up Caymen Tunnels between ports that do not have AppleTalk routing on. For instance, if you have two MR1000R's and wish to tunnel AppleTalk between them through the Internet, then you set the Ethernet ports to route AppleTalk and the WAN ports to not route AppleTalk. Then you put in the IP address of the remote router WAN IP address for the Caymen Tunnel. Only if the WAN is unnumbered, then point the tunnel at the Ethernet address of the remote router.
Remember that you have to set up a Caymen tunnel in both directions, so each end needs one tunnel configured back to the other.
