Chassis Bundles and Redundant Product Orderability Change
Cisco Systems® announces an upcoming orderability change for supervisors, power supplies and chassis bundles. As of July 31, 2003, the existing chassis bundles will be orderable as configured systems, no longer as bundled SKUs. As of August 29, 2003, redundant power supplies and redundant supervisors will be orderable through quantity selection, rather than through a separate (redundant) model number.
Orderability Change
Customers will be made aware of this event through changes in the price list, the configurator tool, and a product bulletin. This change is consistent with other recent changes in the 6500 product line and within Cisco.
