Q. How do I set-up a static IP address on my IP phone?
A.Step 1:
Using the SPA, press the Setupbutton.
Step 2:
Go to Network (9) using the Navigationbutton.
Step 3:
When the Network section appears, go to DHCP Enable (1). Select Edit soft key. Set it to No by pressing y/n soft key. Press Ok soft key.Step 4:
Go to Non-DHCP IP Address using the Navigation button. Press Edit soft key. You have to enter the IP address of the SPA then press OK soft key.Note: For example, if the IP address of the SPA is 192.168.1.100, you have to enter 192*168*1*100. Asterisk key will be the period.
Step 5:
Go to Non-DHCP Subnet Mask (9). Press Edit soft key. You have to enter the subnet mask of the SPA then press OK soft key.Note: If the subnet mask of the SPA is 255.255.255.0, you have to enter 255*255*255*0.
Step 6:
Go to Non-DHCP Default Route. Press Edit soft key. You have to enter the default gateway of the SPA then press OK soft key.Note: If the default gateway of the SPA is 192.168.1.1, you have to enter 192*168*1*1.
Step 7:
Go to Non-DHCP DNS1 (12). Press Edit soft key. You have to enter the DNS1 of the SPA, press OK soft key and then press Save soft key.Note: If the DNS1 of the SPA is 192.168.1.1, you have to enter 192*168*1*1 using the number keypad.
