Pervasive security

The Cisco CGR1000 provides hardened security designed at different layers. Certificate based identity check ensures the physical device is eligible for the network. The 802.1x Access control guards the entry points into your network. IPSec and FlexVPN provide transport layer enterprise level security.

Multi-service

The CGR1000 serves as a horizontal platform for various industrial services, enabling Automated Metering and Distributed Automation for the utility industry. On top of it, It also provides services for street lighting applications and substation automation using data from intelligent electronic devices (IED). By providing features such as VLAN, VRF-Lite, QoS, the CGR1000 provides true multi-services to IoT industries.

Resiliency

The CGR1000 is an IP67 rated ruggedized device. Built-in Battery enable automatic power failover. The HA design of the CGR1000 + the self-healing mesh network, complete the Resiliency of the Field Area Network architecture.
