Q. How do I check the HTTP configuration of the switch?

Note: If you can ping the switch but unable to access it's Web-UI, check the HTTP Configuration by following the steps below. 

Checking the HTTP Configuration of the Switch 

Step 1:
Access the switch's configuration interface via HyperTerminal or Telnet.

Step 2:
Go to the System Configuration Menu and select IP Configuration.

 

Step 3:
Under IP Configuration select HTTP Configuration. Make sure HTTP Server is set to ENABLE and HTTP Server Port is set to 80.

 

 

Step 4:
Go back to the IP Configuration menu and select HTTPS Configuration. Make sure HTTPS Server Port is set to 443.

 

Step 5:
Try accessing the switch's web-based setup page by typing "http://192.168.1.254".
