Ben Thomas joined Cisco in 1998 as a systems engineer overseeing the oil and gas, energy, and healthcare vertical markets. In addition to earning CCIE certifications in routing and switching and security, Ben has also worked as a consulting systems engineer covering the Southern United States and managing all aspects of enterprise security with a special focus on large enterprise, campus, and data center security. Ben is currently part of a global task force liaising with customers and partners to define, design, implement, and document systems architectures with a focus on routing, switching, security, and storage area networking.
