Select one of these PPPoA implementation options for your Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) service. Both implementation options include configuration examples for Network Address Translation (NAT) overload, NAT Pool, Static NAT, and Dynamic Host Control Protocol (DHCP) Server.
Select the option that describes the type of PPPoA service your ISP provides.
PPPoA Option 1—Your ISP assigns a single dynamic public IP address to your Cisco DSL Router.
PPPoA Option 2—Your ISP assigns a single static public IP address to your Cisco DSL Router.
