Introduction
This document provides information on the state of the RSRB routers when the peer is coming up. This state can be found in the show source-bridge command output. These states changes can be found in debug source-event.

The information in this document was created from the devices in a specific lab environment. All of the devices used in this document started with a cleared (default) configuration. If your network is live, make sure that you understand the potential impact of any command.

RSRB State
Open with no problem:
closed --> opening opening --> openwait openwait --> remwait remwait --> remgo remgo --> draining draining --> open
Open with no success (the TCP/IP connection is bad):
open --> closed closed --> opening opening --> openwait openwait --> dead
Open with no success (one configuration with fst, the other configuration with TCP):
closed --> opening opening --> openwait openwait --> remwait remwait --> openwait openwait --> remwait remwait --> openwait openwait --> remwait remwait --> openwait openwait --> remwait remwait --> dead
