Problem Description
If you power off the CAR100, let it remain powered off for at least 10 minutes before restarting. If you reapply the power within 10 minutes, it is possible that the unit will fail to re-establish communication with the head-end unit.
Problem Symptoms
The CAR100 front plate LED blinks yellow continuously, indicating that the modem is unable to sign on the head-end unit.
Workaround/Solution
If you reapply the power within 10 minutes of the power off, and it fails to establish communication, power it off once more and let it remain in that state for 10 minutes. After you power on, the unit will start to communicate with the head-end unit as normal.
