Customers who upgrade to Prime Infrastructure Release 1.2.0 might experience issues with application usage, the login process, and partial upgrades. These issues result in downtime and slow recovery. Impacted customers are not able to migrate data from the Network Control System (NCS) reliably.
Customers who install a new release of Prime Infrastructure Release 1.2.0, without NCS data migration, might see issues with backup and restore operations.

Customers who currently use Prime Infrastructure Release 1.2.1.12 are advised to migrate to Prime Infrastructure Release 1.3, and apply all of the latest patches.

Initial Workaround/Solution
For customers who plan to upgrade to Prime Infrastructure Release 1.2.0, Cisco recommends not to migrate NCS data or perform the backup and restore operations until Prime Infrastructure Release 1.2.1 is available.
For customers who already have Prime Infrastructure Release 1.2.0 installed, Cisco recommends to apply the new Prime Infrastructure point patch when it is released to their current system.
Once Prime Infrastructure server is at Release 1.2.1, customers can begin NCS data migration and normal backup and restore operations.
If upgrade issues are encountered before Prime Infrastructure Release 1.2.1 is available, contact the Cisco Technical Assistace Center and open a service request.
