Problem Description
Cisco IOS Release 11.2(6)P2 is an Early Deployment software release that supports new features for Cisco's high-end routing products. Cisco IOS release 11.2(6)P2 is the first 11.2P software image that supports some of the high-end products presently available in Cisco IOS Release 11.1CA.
Cisco IOS Release 11.2(6)P2 contains the same software defect fixes and features as Cisco IOS Release 11.2(6)P. In addition, these software defects are resolved in Cisco IOS Release 11.2(6)P2:

CSCdj06068 (registered customers only) : IPX packets corrupted from IPX route on MIP(t1)/ct3 interfaces

CSCdi67315 (registered customers only) : Throttling under high bi-directional load could be better

CSCdj19231 (registered customers only) : Misaligned copying of data may cause system failures

CSCdj10028 (registered customers only) : Packet errors caused by FDDI SMT packets

Cisco IOS 11.2(6)P1 was not posted so that software defect CSCdj10028 could be resolved. Resolving this software defect required a renumber to 11.2(6)P2.
