User Control Point (UCP)has been classified as end of life. UCP was a carrier-class access solution that incorporated AAA as well as DHCP and DNS services. UCP V1.x made use of CiscoSecure ACS and GRS to provide AAA services with roaming support. UCP has evolved from a bundled solution to a new component architecture comprised of Cisco Access Registrar, Cisco Network Registrar, and Cisco Netowrking Services (CNS). Cisco UCP is part of Cisco's xDSL Solution as well as
Cisco Service Management System.
