CCIE Plaque and Certificate

As an official CCIE, you will receive an engraved plaque and certificate, shipped to the address listed in your profile within 10-12 weeks. Please make sure your contact information is up-to-date.

CCIE Merchandise

For the best discounts available, use your Cisco login and visit the Cisco Marketplace, home to the Cisco Bookstore and Cisco Logo Merchandise Store. A selection of merchandise which can be personalized with your name and CCIE number is available at the CCIE Store.

Discussion Forums

CCIEs are invited to participate in several discussion forums:

  • CCIE Technical Exchange: an online forum restricted to active CCIEs for expert-level discussion of networking solutions and product issues.
  • Cisco Certification Community: an online portal open to any Cisco certified professional, featuring live broadcasts and access to experts.
  • Net Pro: Cisco’s online community for networking professionals for sharing questions, suggestions and information.

Technical Service Requests (Case Routing)

Service requests made to Cisco Technical Support (TS) by CCIEs in good standing, on behalf of an organization with a valid support contract, will be routed directly to the more experienced core TS support engineers. Routing is done automatically based on Cisco User ID; no special phone number or URL is required. For more information, contact Cisco Technical Support.

Help ensure the continued success and excellent reputation of the CCIE program.

Follow the CCIE Logo Guidelines

Certified CCIEs may access the CCIE logo for use on business cards, letterhead and personalized materials within certain guidelines. CCIEs who reach their 10-year anniversary in good standing with the program may use the special “10-year” version of the logo. Any use of the logo indicates your agreement to comply with the Logo Guidelines.

Update Your CCIE Profile

All correspondence regarding your status and program requirements is sent to the email address maintained in the CCIE database. This database is separate from Cisco’s general customer database. Periodically verify your profile information and keep it up-to-date.

Recertify Before Your Deadline

To remain an active CCIE, you must recertify every two years. For detailed information, refer to recertification requirements.

Report Exam Violations

CCIE exam integrity is the responsibility of every member of the CCIE community. Disclosure of exam content can result in a serious erosion of the value of CCIE. Please report violations or instances of suspicious activity to program authorities for investigation.
