Call on Your Local IT Community
Industry professionals are often glad to contribute part of their
day to help students understand and appreciate technology. These
guests can participate in a variety of ways:
- Speak to your students about technology, their jobs, daily
routines, and training backgrounds
- Spend time with students in small groups at lunch
- Serve as guest judges during the competition

Learn More About the Events
The landing pages for the cable making, component identification, computer building, home networking, quiz bowl, router configuration, TAC/professionalism, and virtual computer events will supply you with the following:
- The amount of time required for initial setup and for students
to complete the tasks
- Rules and procedures, including a copy of rules to distribute
to each team
- Scoring sheets for the judges
- Equipment list, including what you should supply and what teams
need to bring with them
- Room setup
- Any other downloads needed for the event
- Hints for success
