Part of the Cisco Channel Partner Program, MSCP specifies the requirements, associated branding, and rewards for partners participating in the program. The program supports a value-based go-to-market strategy where all partners are treated equally, with no special advantage based on total volume. Partners compete based on the value they add for the end customer, allowing for better differentiation and greater profitability. MSCP Structure & Rewards
Summary MSCP Requirements
MSCP requirements are based on established industry standards such as ISO/IEC 20000, the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework for IT service management, as well as Cisco best practices and validated design specifications. Partners may qualify for one of three levels in the program, based on the depth of their experience remotely managing services from a network operations center or NOC, and their capabilities to deliver Cisco technologies as a service. Partners are measured against the graduated requirements depicted above. Achieving the Managed Services–Master level of the program provides partners the highest level of discounts on customer equipment, rights to the Cisco Powered Managed Services logo for qualified services, additional back-end payments on Cisco Powered products used for qualified services, and the most robust go-to-market assistance.
