Retired Specializations

Overview

The Cisco Channel Partner Program Specializations are continually being evaluated and updated so that they remain relevant to the industry and reflect current market demands. We regularly create new specializations to address networking technology advances, and retire specializations as customer needs evolve and change.

Once a specialization is retired, no new applications for that specialization will be accepted beyond the specified deadline. A partner that has achieved the specialization or achieves the specialization prior to the specified deadline may keep the specialization until they reach their next annual specialization renewal date.

A specialization retirement is typically announced three months prior to the application submission deadline--the last date applications will be accepted. Specialization applications submitted via the Channel Partner Application (CPApp) tool after the deadline will not be processed. Cisco reserves the right to modify deadlines and time frames in exceptional cases.
