وفيما يلي الرسم التخطيطي للشبكة المستخدم لهذا العرض التوضيحي:

يعد إرتباط نظير vPC هو Port-channel 1. تعد Ethernet 5/1 هو إرتباط نظير-keepalive الخاص ب vPC.  هناك موجهان رئيسيان يتم توصيلهما عبر L3 /30 خطوة e3/3 و e3/4 على كل صندوق N7K.  تقوم N5KA و N5KB بمحاكاة محولات L2 vPC المتصلة على VPC 100 و vPC 101. N7KA هو الجهاز الأساسي vPC.

يتم إستخدام تعقب كائن vPC في سيناريو مثل هذا.  لديك وحدة M132 واحدة تستخدم مع إرتباط نظير vPC بالإضافة إلى وصلات L3 إلى المركز.  في حالة فقد الوحدة النمطية M132 بسبب فشل الأجهزة، ستفقد إرتباط نظير vPC بالإضافة إلى وصلات L3.  إذا حدث ذلك في المربع الثانوي ل vPC (N7KB)، فلن يكون ذلك مشكلة نظرا لأن النظير الأساسي للتشغيل قد يتغلب على إيقاف قنوات منفذ vPC وواجهات VLAN في المربع الثانوي للتشغيل.  المشكلة في حالة فشل HW على الجهاز الأساسي للتشغيل (N7KA). إذا لم تستخدم تعقب الكائنات، سنعلق جميع قنوات منفذ vPC على N7KB بالإضافة إلى واجهات Vlan.  وكان إرتباط النظير أيضا سيتوقف.  لن تكون لديك طريقة لتوجيه حركة مرور البيانات الأساسية إلى شبكات VLAN الخاصة بنا في هذا السيناريو.  

يتتبع الكائنات الحصول على كل ما سبق عن طريق تخفيض vPC في الأساسي للتشغيل حتى لا نصل إلى هذا السيناريو حيث يتم إسقاط واجهات VLAN وقنوات منفذ vPC في المربع الذي يحتوي على الوصلات المتبقية إلى الأساس.

هلاء صرتو ما بقى غير بالحالة.  N7KA هو النظير الأساسي vPC، ولكنه يتوقف عن إرسال رسائل keepalive لنظير vPC إلى N7KB حتى لا يتم إيقاف N7KB مؤقتا.  N7KB هو النظام الوحيد الذي يحتوي على وصلات.

ملاحظة: يتصل E3/4 على N7KB بمنفذ VDC آخر على N7KA، وهذا هو السبب الذي أدى إلى تعطل هذا المنفذ أيضا.  النقطة هي أن أنت يتلقى تتبعت قارن فوق N7KB ولا شيء على N7KA لذلك هو توقف إرسال رسائل إلى N7KB على ال peer-keepalive خطوة.

خرج الإيثاناليزر من N7KA:
