Enterprise Chat and Email (ECE) for Release 12.0 is compatible with Unified CCE Release 12.0(1).
Co-residency support= Full
Supported Versions of VMware vSphere ESXi= 6.0 U2 and later updates, 6.5 inclusive of all updates, 6.7 inclusive of all updates (C240 M5 servers require minimum ESXi 6.5 U2). For application fresh installs on ESXi 6.5 (VMFS5 only; ECE 1500 agent deployments are supported on VMFS5 or VMFS6 only if ECE is deployed on a different ESXi host from the Unified CCE components) and/or vCenter 6.5, use minimum OVA file version ECE_12.0_400_Win2012_vmv11_v1.0.ova and ECE_12.0_1500_Win2012_vmv11_v1.0.ova. Does not apply to ESXi version upgrades.

| Enterprise Chat and Email follows UC storage system design requirements. For more information, refer to UC Virtualization Storage System Design Requirements.
For information about TRC versus specs-based support for storage systems, refer to UC Virtualization Supported Hardware.
All Enterprise Chat and Email VM vDisks must be deployed Thick Provisioned, Lazy, or Eager Zeroed. Thin Provisioned vDisks are not supported.
Storage Area Networks and Specs-based policy storage solutions must be able to handle the following Enterprise Chat and Email application disk I/O characteristics. Tested Reference Configurations (TRC) for Cisco UCS C-Series servers do not need to apply these requirements against their Direct Attached Storage Arrays (DAS).
