Cisco Systems® announces the end-of-sale and end-of life dates for the Cisco 1-Port and 2-Port V.90 Modem WAN Interface Cards. The last day to order the affected product is February 5, 2007. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until February 4, 2012.
Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected product. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement.
Customers are encouraged to migrate to the 1-Port and 2-Port V.92 Modem WAN Interface Cards. Table 2 provides relevant information for migrating to the replacement product.

The replacement 1-Port and 2-Port V.92 Modem WAN Interface Cards (part numbers WIC-1AM-V2 and WIC-2AM-V2) are supported on the following platforms: Cisco 1800 Series, 2600XM, 2691, 2800 Series, 3700 Series, and 3800 Series routers. It is supported in the following minimum Cisco IOS Software releases:
• 12.3(16) Mainline or 12.4(4)T and later maintenance releases for the 2600XM, 2691and 3700
• 12.4(3) Mainline or 12.4(4)T and later mainline releases for 1800, 2800 and 3800
