Bias-Free Language
The documentation set for this product strives to use bias-free language. Product Bulletin No. 3104
Cisco Systems® announces the end-of-sale and end-of-life dates for the Cisco® 803, 811, and 813 ISDN routers. The last day to order the affected products is March 31, 2006. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until March 31, 2011.
Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected product. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement.
Cisco 803 customers are encouraged to migrate to the Cisco 876 Integrated Services Router, which allows small offices to operate secure, concurrent services, including firewall, VPN, and wireless LAN. Information about the replacement product can be found at
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6201/index.html. Table 3 provides relevant information for migrating to the replacement product. There is no migration plan for the Cisco 811 and 813 ISDN routers at this time.

PRODUCT MIGRATION OPTIONS
The recommended replacement for the Cisco 803 is the Cisco 876 (Table 3) for customers who do not require analog voice ports. Alternatively, Cisco 803 customers can also consider a Cisco 1700 or 2800 series product. These integrated services routers allow small offices to operate secure concurrent service, including firewall, VPNs, and wireless LANs, at broadband speeds.
There is no replacement product at this time for the Cisco 811 and 813 ISDN routers.
