Cisco Systems® announces the end-of-sale and end-of life dates for the Cisco Catalyst 3750G-16TD Switch. The last day to order the Cisco Catalyst 3750G-16TD Switch is October 15, 2007. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) as shown in Table 1 of the EoL bulletin.
Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the Cisco Catalyst 3750G-16TD Switch. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement.

The recommended replacement for the affected Cisco Catalyst 3750G-16TD Switch is the Cisco Catalyst 3750E-24TD Switch. The Cisco Catalyst 3750-E Series Switches with StackWise Plus is an enterprise-class line of stackable wiring closet switches that facilitates the deployment of secure converged applications while maximizing investment protection for evolving network and application requirements. Combining 10/100/1000 and Power over Ethernet (PoE) configurations with upgradeable one GbE to 10 GbE uplinks, the Cisco Catalyst 3750-E Series enhances worker productivity by enabling applications such as IP telephony and video.
