Cisco ONS 15454 ML-Series 8-Port SFP-Based 100Base-FX Ethernet Card

The Cisco ONS 15454 ML-Series 8-Port 100Base-FX SFP-Based Ethernet Card (ML-FX) is an 8-port 100Mbps ML-Series card supporting up to eight (8) optical SFP modules that will operate in the ONS 15454 SONET or SDH systems. The SFP modules allow the user to mix and match 100Base-FX types for flexibility in optical reach or fiber types (single-mode or multi-mode). Target applications include delivering 100Base-FX interfaces up a riser using in-building fiber or extending 100Base-FX interfaces to reach customers up to 15km from a central office (CO) or point-of-presence (POP). The ML-FX card extends the ML-Series product family, with industry leading Ethernet and IP switching capabilities offered in a SONET/SDH optical transport platform.
