This enables Cisco Firepower NGFW to focus on providing advanced threat protection before, during, and after attacks.

Product Integrations

  • Panoptica: The integration with F5 BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager (LTM) plugin allows to capture Trace Sources for Panoptica's API Security controller.

  • Secure Workload: Through an open API, Cisco Secure Workload can be easily integrated with F5 BIG-IP to extend application visibility and policy enforcement to L4–L7. The F5 BIG-IP platform is a smart evolution of ADC technology, providing load balancing, WAF, DDoS, L4 firewall, and SSL VPN services to applications. To improve security through automation, Cisco Secure Firewall and F5 have created a remediation capability that allows critical security events such as malware (FireAMP) and IPS/IDS events to initiate rule configuration on F5’s BIG-IP appliances.
