Eligible Users: Texas Government Code sets out the eligible customers who can purchase technology products/services through the Cooperative Contracts Program. They include:

Institutions of Higher Education, as defined by Texas Education Code, Section 61.003
Assistance Organizations, as defined by Texas Government Code, 2175.001 DIR utilizes the eligibility for Assistance Organizations as determined by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts or the Texas Facility Commission (TFC).

Scope of Offerings:
A. Products: Cisco Hardware and Software, including Cloud Offers as classified under the following categories: Cisco Core & Compute, Cisco Market, and Cisco Net.

B. Services:

Smart Net Total Care
Other Technical, Maintenance and Support Services (not under Smart Net Total Care)
Cisco Services (formerly known as Advanced Services)
Training
Limited Reseller/Partner Services (subject to Cisco’s approval)

Shipping & Delivery: FOB Customer’s Destination. If the Customer requests expedited or special delivery, Customer will be responsible for any charges for expedited or special delivery.

Refurbished Equipment: Available

Leasing: See Appendix G

State Administrative Fee: 0.75% of the net purchase price.

Warranty and Returns: Cisco Product Warranties and Return Policy

Minimum Guaranteed Discounts: See DIR-CPO-5347 Appendix C Pricing Index

*The discounts listed in Appendix C, Pricing Index are the minimum guaranteed contract pricing. The Authorized Resellers must provide, at a minimum, those contract discounts as set forth in Appendix C and cannot offer less favorable pricing discounts than the contract discounts. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Authorized Resellers may offer any additional, incremental discounts to any eligible users under the DIR-CPO-5347 contract and such additional discounts if offered, may be provided at the discretion and as the sole legal obligation of the Authorized Resellers.

Cisco Systems, Inc. ("Cisco") requires Purchase Orders to be processed through our Authorized Resellers. Customers (Authorized Purchasers) may select any of the Authorized Resellers.

Purchase Order Instructions

Select one of the Authorized Resellers.
Issue the Purchase Order directly to the selected Authorized Reseller.
Reference the Price Contract DIR-CPO-5347 on your Purchase Order.
Include the following contact info: Your customer name and phone number, "Ship To" and "Bill To" addresses.

Authorized Resellers will directly ship the orders placed to the identified ""Ship To"" address(es). Customers will then be invoiced directly by the Authorized Resellers. Payments must be made in accordance with the terms of Price Contract DIR-CPO-5347.

Warranty Terms

Please refer to Cisco's Standard Warranty Terms.

Repair or Replacement of Products

Please directly contact the Authorized Reseller who processed your original Purchase Order for the Cisco Products. Subject to the Cisco warranty terms, the Authorized Reseller will work with you and Cisco on the matter.

Blanket POs are not allowed under the contract.

Additional or conflicting PO terms are not allowed under contract.
