    This document describes how to resolve the error message "The same permission must not appear multiple times" when you deploy applications to Amazon Web Services (AWS).

    The information in this document was created from the devices in a specific lab environment. All of the devices used in this document started with a cleared (default) configuration. If your network is live, make sure that you understand the potential impact of any command.

    Problem

    When you deploy a job to AWS, the deployment can fail with this error; "The same permission must not appear multiple times."

    Solution

    1. Login to the Cloud Center Manager (CCM) User Interface (UI).
    2. Navigate to Applications.
    3. Select the Application which when deployed gives the error.
    4. Select the Edit/Update option.
    5. Confirm that none of the nodes under Firewall Rules have the same rule defined twice. Each node Firewall Rule must only be defined once.
    6. Save the Application Profile.
