The standard installer for Tidal Enterprise Orchestrator (TEO) installs the required databases for use with TEO. Users may need to install their databases for Tidal Enterprise Orchestrator separately from the standard installation.
Cisco recommends that you have knowledge of these topics:
Tidal Enterprise Orchestrator 2.1 or later
The information in this document is based on the Tidal Enterprise Orchestrator 2.1 or later.
The information in this document was created from the devices in a specific lab environment. All of the devices used in this document started with a cleared (default) configuration. If your network is live, make sure that you understand the potential impact of any command.
Refer to Cisco Technical Tips Conventions for more information on document conventions.
Complete these steps in order to install the required databases:
For either the Process Database or Reporting Database, in the install media, choose DatabaseScripts > MSSQL, and run the database script in the \DatabaseScripts\MSSQL folder. There is a TEOProcess.sql and a TEOReporting.sql script.
These scripts should be run with a system administrator account in order to create the databases and the required tables
After the database and tables are created, run the TEO installer and when prompted, point to the proper database server.
The installer detects that you already have a database and prompts you to use the current database. Choose Yes for both databases and proceed with the installation.
Refer to Tidal Enterprise Orchestrator: Manually Create a TEO Report Database for more information on the Reporting Database.
