This article relates to the Cisco TelePresence System Codec C90, Cisco TelePresence System Codec C60, Cisco TelePresence System Codec C40 and Cisco TelePresence System EX90 products.

Q. How do I upgrade the software of the TANDBERG Codec?

A. This answer is valid for the following products:

TANDBERG EX90

TANDBERG Codec C20

TANDBERG Codec C40

TANDBERG Codec C60

TANDBERG Codec C90

You can upgrade the TANDBERG Codec from its web interface.

To do that, follow the steps below:

  1. Open a web browser and enter the IP address to connect to the TelePresence Product by HTTP.

  2. Select the Upgrade tab, click Browse... and locate the upgrade file (.PKG).

  3. Click the Install software button to start the installation.

  4. Leave the system for a few minutes to allow the installation process to complete. The upgrade process takes about 4-5 minutes.
