I uploaded a new software version to my TANDBERG Codec and now I can only place point-to-point calls, even though I have the MultiSite option installed. Why?

This article relates to the Cisco TelePresence System Codec C90, Cisco TelePresence System Codec C60, Cisco TelePresence System Codec C40 and Cisco TelePresence System EX90 products.

Q. I uploaded a new software version to my TANDBERG Codec and now I can only place point-to-point calls, even though I have the MultiSite option installed. Why?

A. This answer is valid for the following products:

TANDBERG EX90

TANDBERG Codec C20

TANDBERG Codec C40

TANDBERG Codec C60

TANDBERG Codec C90

When upgrading to a new main release, you must have a valid software release key. Without the valid release key your MultiSite option key will not be loaded and hence you can only place point-to-point calls.
