This article relates to Cisco TelePresence Management Suite.
A. If the IP Zone a system is associated to has the URI Domain Name defined, TMS assumes any system in that zone that is registered to an H.323 gatekeeper can make or receive H.323 calls using URIs for the alias.
TMS will not dial URI between two systems that are both associated to the same IP Zone but rather dial by E.164 instead. If the systems are associated to different IP Zones, and both zones have the URI domain name defined, TMS will use a URI by appending the URI domain name to the alias of the system to be called.
