A. TMS must configure devices so they can connect to and contact the TMS server. In many organizations, the addresses to reach TMS are different for systems inside and outside the organization's network. This setting allows you to tell TMS which group of Management settings should be configured on this system.
Management settings are defined on the Administrative Tools > Configuration > Network page. Systems set to Reachable on LAN use the "Local" addresses while those set to Public Internet use the "Public" addresses.
