A. When dialing ISDN, TMS performs the following checks against the number being dialed. The number will consist of <country code>-<area code>-<base number>:
Is the system being called a TMS-managed system in the same ISDN zone as the calling system? If it is, dial using the number of digits specified in the ISDN zone for Internal Calls starting with the least significant digit.
Is the country code of the number the same as the ISDN zone? If not, dial the outside line prefix defined in the ISDN Zone + 011 + country code + base number.
Is the area code the same as the ISDN zone?
If not, dial the outside line prefix defined in the ISDN zone + 1 + area code + base number.
If it is, dial the outside line prefix defined in the ISDN zone + base number.
The rules for when to dial calls as long distance can be modified using Area Code rules.
