This article relates to Cisco TelePresence Management Suite.
A. The size of the physical TMS database is automatically set and managed by the Microsoft SQL Server. The database will automatically grow to accommodate the needs of TMS. The rate of growth is dependent on how large and how busy your managed network is. TMS provides automatic maintenance of the database to manage growth in Administrative Tools > TMS Server Maintenance, where you can set data retention limits.
Smaller deployments (<100 systems) can, on average, expect database sizes on the order of 50MB - 2GB. Medium deployments (100-500 systems) can expect databases on the order of 1GB-6GB, and very large or very heavy networks can expect databases of approximately 6GB-10GB.
Note: The size spans provided here are not limits, only approximations. Actual database size will vary.
