Q. Why am I sometimes prompted for a username and password when logging into TMS but not always?

A. The default TMS installation is configured to allow both Integrated Authentication and Basic Authentication.

Your web browser and the TMS web server will automatically negotiate the most secure way of logging into the website. If Integrated Authentication with automatic logon is negotiated, your web browser will automatically log you into TMS using the same credentials that you used to logged into your computer. If Integrated Authentication with automatic logon cannot be negotiated, you will be prompted for a username and password.
